Lack of sun getting you down? Try this guided meditation.

The lack of sun at this time of year can be upsetting. I for one find that my sleep pattern (fragile at the best of times!) is almost always disturbed as my time outdoors is limited by the cold temperatures and snowy conditions. Some people find their mood is low, or just feel a little “off” due to lack of sunshine.

Regardless of the reason, this lovely meditation is very soothing, helping to ease frazzled nerves and calm the restless mind. If you are looking for a balm for the spirit, try this six-minute meditation by Dr. Tim Brieske of the Chopra Center. While it is aimed primarily at those who are predominantly of the Pitta Dosha, it works well for everyone.

An “Introduction to Meditation” starts February 4th
